We have an NEC 2000 IPS and I want to be able to turn off pages from coming through certain extensions. I am tired of contacting our vendor to do this simple request. How can I use Matworks to do this. Can anyone write out the step by step...the extension number will be 2260. Thanks

You can use matworx, but is your technician charging you for doing these changes?
The only reason I ask, is that you would be required to use the cmd line in moc terminal and that is not the best place to be for someone that is only making changes once in a while.

Check command 5600 to 5607, look for your extn in these internal paging groups

No they don't charge but sometimes it takes two or three phone calls to get it done. I know it is something simple yet I just don't know how. I asked how to do it in Matworks simply because I am a more visual person and would like to see it on screen versus a phone display....How do I check comand 5600 to 5607? The steps....
Thanks

The best suggestion would be to enrol in an NEC admin course. Basic programming like this would be covered, along with other things that will allow you to do most simple things that the technician takes forever to do.

If you contact your local NEC Vendor, they should be able to tell you.
