Keep getting missed backups

Hey, I have an issue where I keep running into 'missed' backups in BE v10.0 rev 5520.

To give a quick rundown of the the situation, I've got a policy setup to backup 14 different servers starting Monday @ 0300. Every Tuesday, there are at least one, but sometimes more, jobs that show as 'missed'. I assume this is because the job ends up running over 24 hours.

Is there anyway around this 24 hour cap on a policy job? I'm backing up a large amount of data, no way it could actually squeeze into a 24 hour window since my robotic libraries are not fast enough. I'm not going to consider upgrading my drives.

Any thoughts?

In version 10d it still has the backup window. The will not be changing. They are talking about the Continuos Protection Server software
