keep a history when using the back button

I have a back button in the application I am developing and I would like to be able to capture the history of each event and the back button can detect what previous sprite that been visited. Is there a lingo that allow you to do such a thing.

not sure what version your using but in Director 8.x there is a "jump to marker (both forward and back) that will allow you to keep track of where you have been and allows the user to back track through clicks and then go forward where the visited. I use it all the time and it is pretty straight forward.

Please could you give me an example of the "jump to" marker command. I am using director 8.5.
