KDS Micros on Windows XP

Hi, i´m new in this website.
We have been using KDS for 3 years in one of our restaurants.
We´re trying to do the same with other restaurant, but with a touchscreen monitor so we bought a 23 inch viewsonic.
Came with the problem that the touch wans´nt working because there are no drivers for windows ce, tried everything and can´t get it to work.
So, is there a way to install de KDS system on a pc running on windows XP or Windows 7?

We are currently running Micros 3700 4x.

How is the Touch screen monitor connected to the workstation?

I don't have much experience with them, but just thinking out loud, on a Windows XP, Windows 7, it should work as long as the touch screen part works. You'll just need to install the Client for it on that computer. I'm sure someone else with more experience may be-able to give more info.

Yes you can run KDS on a Win XP or Win 7 client. You may need to install NET framework though to get it running.

The Touch screen is concected vía usb to te KDS station, but it operate on Windows CE,
