Does anyone have experience with this? I have a PC that is very sluggish, mainly because this "app" is hogging the CPU. When I try to End Process it simply restarts. I've removed it from the Registry and it reinserts. HELP!?

its maybe a trojan or script logged in your RAM. it wont go out easily. a worm or ad-aware, those freakin ads.

get this:

CWShredder can detect if you have a badly ad software.
Then, turn-off pc, disconnect, take off your ram dimms, and change from position.

TuneUp Utilities can help fixing Registry problems too, Get it here:

hope it fixes it.
Regards, Jazket.

Thanks. But how does it stay in RAM if the PC's been turned off? It has to write itself somewhere. Doesn't it.

Follow the instructions in What are Good Virus/Spyware?Update/Firewall Practices? faq779-5240

Follow the instructions there for the online Virus Scans and the Malware applications.

In situations like this I like to run the Housecall Online scan - Followed by Adaware and Spybot. Finished by a scan with Hijack This.

However there are other steps that are described in the FAQ

Sorry, forgot the most important part. I believe my problem originated from the bkinst.exe file which seemed to be creating these processes over and over again, and as I mentioned, my usual bag of tricks didn't help this time.
