First Vantage series install here at our office to mess around with. I downloaded the latest firmware files from support.avaya.com and uploaded them to the HTTP server. I get the following in the http log.

2019-12-03 23:08:29 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xx_SIP-R2_2_0_0_7528.tar - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 14
2019-12-03 23:08:36 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xx_SIP-R2_2_0_0_7528.tar_checksum.txt - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 404 0 2 1
2019-12-03 23:08:41 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xx_SIP-recovery.brio.img_45b40b2e.tar - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 5414
2019-12-03 23:08:56 127.0.0.1 GET / - 80 - 127.0.0.1 - - 200 0 0 4
2019-12-03 23:09:00 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xx_SIP-u-boot.bin_83719b26.tar - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 327
2019-12-03 23:09:00 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xx_SIP-vendor_201ecdbc.tar - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 24
2019-12-03 23:09:01 10.0.0.103 GET /K1xxSupgrade.txt - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 6
2019-12-03 23:09:01 10.0.0.103 GET /46xxsettings.txt - 80 - 10.0.0.41 Avaya/Vantage - 200 0 0 9

it appears to be looking for the checksum.txt file for the sip firmware, but that file doesn't exist. Is there a way to bypass this or get the right files?

on the phone screen it shows downloading, it looks like it gets to 18% and fails.

I could be wrong... I haven't tried to set one of theses up yet.

Important note: The directory containing the new unzip firmware files must not include the
previously used format of the file system checksum file called "FS_Checksum.txt". Failing to
delete this "FS_Checksum.txt" file will cause the upgrade to fail. In the future, upgrades from
release 2.0.1.0 and later will not include or require any checksum file.

I did see that bulletin and I checked and couldn't find that file in the directory.
