I just ran the latest patch_cluster for my Sol8 Intel machine. AFter the patch script finished installing, I rebooted and it wont get past the boot selection. It times out after 5 seconds and continues to time out.

Run Error: Cant find file
Can not run Security

Is the error displayed. I try to do a 'b -s' or even 'b -r' and nothing. I can only enter the boot interpreter. Yet I dont have a clue of what to do inside of that. I suspect that the securty patches screwed up the booting process somehow. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

You can reboot from the solaris CD, and then mount the file systems and do a backout on the cluster and reboot. No garantee it will work, but worth the try. Too bad I.T. is not cash business
