I built a new server with jumpstart..when the box comes up I get the following message on console -

No network interface detected - please investigate

and then it hangs..

When I did a add_install_client I specified the ip address.

Any suggestions ?

In /etc/hosts of the jumpstart server ? Yes it is. The new box hangs so I can't check it's /etc/hosts

So you're saying that the Jumpstart build completes correctly, the server reboots, and then you run into this problem?

Where exactly in the boot process does it happen?

Annihilannic.

Yes Annihilannic...the build completes correctly and the server reboots.

I'll give you more information tomorrow if I remember, unfortunately the server booted after a while, I'd forgotten about it and when I went back to the window it had booted up. But I have more servers to build so I should be able to replicate the problem.
