Hi Folks,

I'm looking into how to automatically schedule a VB task via the Windows Scheduler.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to instruct the scheduler from either the VB app itself, or a custom built vb installation process for it.

I've dug around on Google etc and come up with the JT.EXE from MS. Unfortunately, there is very little documentation available with the app.

So, a couple of questions...

Has anyone used this with Vb in the past?

Could anyone suggest a better way of doing this?

Cheers, Flo55y.

Trying a keyword search in this forum should find my API solution to this in several threads (try and use the latest posted, as it contains some minor corrections), and also of some WMI solutions posted by others

Thanks strongm.

I've found the API stuff and it's working really well!

For anyone visiting this thread in the future, I've used NetScheduleJobAdd to create the schedule. Just working on the NetScheduleJobGetInfo bits now so I can use the NetScheduleJobDelete calls and then I can handle all the scheduling I need for my app.

Once again - many thanks.
Flo55y.
