can anyone please show me an example of a jscript that verifies a date depending on the current date ... any verify that you want...
thnx.

I dont mind helping people out when they at least show willing - but when they say please give me the code for xy and z, and clearly haven't tried to find the answers - I wont help.

Yeah, I feel like muttering stfw a lot myself. Or telling someone that they need a developer, not a forum. :)

Not particularly singling you out ghorr btw.

what does "singling you out" mean?

if you don't want to help .. don't. Nobody is forcing you to do it ... Don't blame people for asking. Maybe they don't afford a developer.

Don't get shirty ghorr, you obviously haven't looked very far for the answer to your development problems - there are many sites on the internet that have the answer, try looking.

Programmers like myself and theboyhope have assisted many people on this site, we advise and assist where we can. Our knowledge was not something that we were born with, but something that has been aquired by slogging through books and web sites to find the answers.

Let look at your involvement with tek-tips :

You have helped no one and just expect everyone to help you - you dont think to look at the FAQ's or study one of the websites recommended, so I point you in the direction of my first answer.

Come back when you want to get involved and not freeload !!

heh ... i was just going to thank you for the tip you gave me ... it helped a lot ... was it really that bad that i asked about it before losing precious time looking for it?

It's not like i asked you to do it for me ...

And about the involvement thingie ... i didn't know it's a must to try and help other people ... i don't have time to stay and read what people are asking about in the sections i could answer to (obviously not the ones i posted into).

Like i said before ... nobody is forcing you to answer me. I don't "expect" anything. If you want to help then i am most grateful ... if you don't then don't lecture me please ...

By not "singling you out" I meant that I wasn't talking about you in particular.

Yes, in my opinion, because you are asking *us* to spend *our* precious time on it.

I can understand that you might feel you've been victimised a bit, even though you haven't done all that much wrong. We should have started a different thread (even though I think we made an effort to put it as nicely as possible).

Sorry.
