JREW Error: installing Oracle 8.1.7 in windows 98

Hello!

I have the next problem:

I try to install Oracle 8.1.7 database in windows 98, but I get an error message:

"jrew generate page error no valid in module javai.dll"

the error I wrote it is not textually...

what's the reason ??

Is it PE, that is the ONLY version certified for W98?

Yes... it's Personal Oracle 8.1.7...

I got the solution for problem from the Web. The solution requires the next steps:

- Copy entire installation CD to some hard drive directory.

- Search this file: sym*.dll

- Rename file; example: sym*.old

- Run setup program from hard drive directory.
