We have user on Exchange 5.5 sp4 mailbox account that was deleted from one site and then created on another site. The same NT account was reused. The user has no problem login and using his mail in Outlook 2000, but when trying to change his password receives message"Your windows NT password could not be changed. This account is currently restricted". The Outlook account password can only be changed in NT UserManager, but not at the client level. We tried going into tools, options etc.., we also tried changing in OWA, but we get the same results. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, in advance

You need to use the User administrator for domains, select the user and allow the user to change his own password.
