JPG or GIF tool???

Hi there,
I would like to know how to work with JPEG of GIF files in Jbuilder 6 (personal).

I'm used to Delphi's "Image component", but in Jbuilder is a different story.

Any information about working with these kind of files or tutorials over the use of JPEG or GIF would be really appreciated.

I do not believe their is an image tool in JBuilder believe it or not. The only way I was able to insert an image was to create a label. Then you use the setIcon method for that label to insert the image.

It's kind of sad, because I don't want just to put an image on the program, but work with images and process them, like histograms and so on...

There are probably Javabeans out there that do what you want.
As you can use any Javabean at all in JBuilder integration shouldn't be a problem.

You could start taking a look at sites like

http://www.jars.com

and see if you can find something.
