Jounal posted in accpac for windows v3 "stuck" 1

Our accountant has posted a journal and received the message "journal posting". It then locked there and we cannot clear it or post any other journals.

You did not mention which module the problem occurred. You probably are looking at a "Post-in-progress" error. Depends on the module, you can find the batch's status field and change its value to 1, which means Open. Delete it, then re-enter and repost the batch.
Here are some of the tables and fields:
GL batch - GLBTCL.BATCHSTAT
AP Invoice - APIBC.BTCHSTTS
AR Invoice - ARIBC.BTCHSTTS

It was a GL Batch. I edited the file and it worked. Thanks very much
