Yep, only the Business, Enterprise and Ultimate editions can be joined to a domain.
Home Premium edition can be upgraded to Ultimate.

but when you do get vista business and are ready to connect the computer i would refer you to this thread for more infomation.
it still makes me mad that when i go to search for this or any word in the advanced search it says it didn't find any results. so i have to use the google search instead.
