Joining Values

I Want to join some values that repeat:

Example:

ID Name Value
1 John 100
1 John 120
2 Mary 203

this is what appears, and I want it to be like this:

ID Name Value
1 John 220
2 Mary 203

Thew first 2 fileds are in one table and the values are in another that is linked with the first.

Saboni,

First group your report by 'Id'. Leave the details as they are. Right click on each of your fields and insert a summary for the string fields and a sub-total for the numeric in the group footer. In the 'Section Expert' supress the printing of the detail section.
