We have a Win2k server at the host locate (remote). I cannot get XP pc's at remote stores to join the domain. Xp Clients on the local (host) network join just fine. Win2k clients join fine across the frame-relay, also. Everyone can see everyone, but XP refuses to join the domain.

I know this sounds like a Microsoft problem, but I thought maybe there was something that XP needed in the router config since it joins fine on the same network as the server.

You could try adding a "ip-helper" address statement and you could also add the following in global config mode:
ip forward-protocol udp netbios-ss

I hope this helps

should I put the ip-helper address under global config? Currently it is setup in the Fast Ethernet interfaces.

Adding the ip-forward protocol.. didn't solve it, unfortunately.

Actually, you shouldn't have to change your router just for XP clients.

Does the XP client see the DNS or WINS server (depending upon how your network is configured?) Can you ping your domain controller by name from the XP client?

I agree with bierhunter that this is not a routing problem. On XP, netbios over IP is by default disabled. YOu may want to try enabling this in your IP settings on the XP clients.
