Join Vista to NT Domain

Is this the workaround you are referring to?
"You must change "NTLMv2 only" in LAN Manager authentication level to "Send NTLM only" or below on Windows Vista side, and Create its machine account with Server Manager first on Windows NT side".
Any other leads here?

I did not create the machine account on the sever first, after I did that I was able join the domain.
FWIW I was able to find a Technological Preview for the Novell client. I did not have a chance to install that yet. Just doing some more testing with the final build of Vista.
