Join Type: "Left Outer Join" + Enforce Join: "Enforce From"

I really don't know what section to post this in but it's been bothering me for quite a long time.

I'm the closest thing to a Crystal specialist in my office and I've got about 10 licenses of Crystal XI installed on different boxes. They're all installed with the same version and are all on XP.

About 1 in 3 can properly print reports to screen in Crystal by refreshing. Everyone else crashes when they refresh a report. After much fiddling, determined that crash only occurs if the report contains "Left Outer Join" "Enforce From" linking. Error is as follows:

"Crystal Reports has stopped working"

If I change the report to use "Inner Join" "Enforce Both", the rpt works. Unfortunately, sometimes our reporting requires Left Outer/Enforce From.

Does anyone know what could causes this? Is there a way to resolve? I'm completely lost as to what could be causing this and I've been pulling my hair out attempting to fix it. Verifying doesn't fix. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks guys, in advance.

l suspect its a bug with crystal 11. If you could maybe go to any crystal forum or if you are able to contact them it might help (developers)

l personally have not experienced it but l know these things happen. They might be a patch for that or a hot fix or something along those to resolve your issue.Sorry but l just can't help much.

What happens if you use left outer join -> enforce both?

It crashes with left outer -> enforce both. You had the same idea I did. Its that left outer I need. For the past few days I've been scowering the web and some say the issue can be due to printer drivers. My drivers are fine though I think I'm kinda stuck.

What if you add a field to the report (even if suppressed) from the left hand table and remove the "Enforce From" on the left join. I think this is the equivalent of "enforce from".
