Hi all,

I'm kinda new in CR, so please go easy on me. I need to join 2 tables by the first 3 characters in each field. This worked with SQL, but I don't know how to do it CR XI: htrans.servcode[1,3] = immun.immtype[1,3].

Also is there an easy way to copy an SQL directly in to CR? I found out how to view the SLQ, but not enter or edit it.

Thanks for taking the time to looking at this for me,

Rich

YOu can not do this with tables, use a command instead. Paste you SQL into a command and then report off that.

My world is expanding! I know there had to be a way to put SQL's in there. Thanks Ian! That worked perfectly!!!
