gurus

Here is my problem, I would like to know the best practice steps to do the following

I have a asa that handles VLAN therefore I have two subnet that can comunicate with each other with no problem one is (192) where all my servers are at this point and (10) where all my workstations are, the work station are on domain a and all user login on domain A, I would like to join the computer to domain B

1)There is no trust between domain
2)I can see domain B dns servers
3)all users have accounts in domain A and domain B
4) DHCP is given by asa
5)just a handful of computer to migrate all can be done manually

Gurus.- how do I go and join the domain B and make it smooth, what should I be looking for in this process.

1) is there a tool
2) if I join dmain B wil I have two profiles
3)asa has to change DHCP right after or before the migration
4) I would like to know all detail if you have done this before

Thanks gurus a bunch

If I understand you, you want to take all the domain A pc's and join them to B? To the best of my knowledge you can only join one domain at a time.

D.

Thanks for the reply

Yes I want to migrate all the computers from domain A to domain B, the DHCP will be change to point DNS on domain B, User will log into domain B, I just needed to know if there were another tips I should be looking for, while I do this migration.

Thanks

Changing from one domain to another will cause the users to create a new profile when they login to the new domain. Make sure they backup all data.
