Job immediately done problem?

Hi,

I'm using Arcserve 9.x build 2200 on a Windows 2003 server.
When I create a new backup job and schedule it or 'run now', job status wil immediately go to 'Done'. So no backup done, no error messages, no Job Log entry, nothing.
Tape unit, hp 6x40, seems to work fine, I can erase and format tapes without problems.

Am I doing something wrong or any other idea?

Still having the same problem.
 
Yes, ive seen this problem in the past. I tried everything form clearing DB, job queues etc - the only thing seemed to work was a reinstall.
 
Thanks for all the help.
We moved the tape unit to the Windows Small Business Server and ordered the latest ArcServe software for SBS.
Installed a trial version and it worked fine.
