jdbgmgr.exe restoration

I was advised by a friend to delete jdbgmgr.exe as it was supposed to be a "virus" and did so. It turned out to be a hoax, but I cannot restore it. I have followed the procedure sent out by Symantec but keep getting a "file not found" return. I even tried to restore it by inserting the Windows 98 CD-Rom in the computer, but came up with the same result. What else can I do to restore the program jdbgmgr.exe? I was advised by Symantec that it is an important program which is part of Windows 98. Thanks, Dave Long

 
Did you try extracting it from the cd using system file checker? See this as to how it's done:


Or you could download and install build 3805 of Virtual Machine. Apparently that file is included with it and that new version of VM fixes some security issues:


Or maybe someone here could just email it to you?
