I recently did an OS Reload - Win 98, on a Javelin Wedge POS. Reinstall the elo touchscreen driver and now having an issue with the calibration, it will not respond to touch... Any suggestion?

did you at any point disconnect the touch cable? if you did and hooked it up backwards, it will be unresponsive. if the cable isnt the issue check your device manager for errors or conflicts also verify your port settings. do you have any of the original documentation for the equipment? I want to say that the elo touch glass uses com6 but i dont have the documentation here to verify..

Make sure you have right driver and have it installed on the correct COM port. If their were no problems with the screen prior to your reload, then it's probably not on the right com port after you reload it. If you're unsure which one it is (it's been a few years now), try installing it on every port, one at a time.

check your device settings. Make sure your comport 5 is on i/o range 0338-033F IRQ 11. Then reinstall elo on com port 5. Do you have the settings for the cash drawer? I lost my i/o range and irq. I deleted it without taking notes thinking the OS would auto detect it.

thnx
