Hi guys,

I'm working on a website for a realty property in Costa Rica. I wanted to feature the temperature of San Jose from an external website. I was wondering if someone can tell me how to do this, or if it's possible??

Cheers,
~s

To do this reliably in all browsers, you'd need to use server-side scripting to read and parse their page.

Getting their permission to do so would be good, I would say (scraping is a legal minefield)... although maybe that is a topic best left for the ethics forum!

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks, it's a good place to start (researching).

weather.com has free inclusions for web pages, like here:

Once you register with them and provide the city you wish to show the weather for, you'll get the code for the web page that won't require anything server-side on your part.
