Hi!

I have modified a javascript/css user preference script, however it does not work in Safari? (the original script, also does not work)

I get a Null Value error in the safari debug console.

page is here
All suggestions/help greatly appreciated.

temp, thrown in at the deep-end....again!

I visited in Safari 3 (MacOSX) and had no errors thrown on the console (for any of the 3 pages on your site). I couldn't see any option to change the user preference in the first place anyway. Maybe this has been updated since you posted?

<rant>
And another thing:
JavaScipt is required to use acessibility options
I think you need to re-evaluate what you mean by accessibility - why might you want to have an accessibility "optimised" site in the first place? Surely this is specifically to cater for users who need/want to use tools to augment their surfing experience (hard of seeing is one reason). Surely requiring them to have javascript enabled goes against the whole accessibility ethos?! </rant>

Cheers,
Jeff

Make sure your web page and css validates properly against the doctype you have chosen - before you attempt to debug a problem!

This is not completed project, I am working through my site to improve accessibility. JavaScript will be part of a variety of "Accessibility" features rather than the be-all and end-all.

Should JavaScript be disabled similar or replacement features will be added in PHP and additional text divs will made available for screen reader users.
