How can I save a javascript variable in my database? I'm making a counter for my website and want to save what screen resolution the visitors have. But I don't understand how I can parse the variable from javascript to php?

JavaScript variables are client-side.

The only way to get the value from a JavaScript variable into PHP is to set a form field to that value then submit the form.

I have done this by writing a cookie in JS and reading it in my PHP program.
