JavaLangException Error on Blackberry

After installing my blackberry, i sent an email to a colleague which was pretty standard, now when i click on the message to try and open it or delete it the blackberry reverts back to the home screen and i get the following error. Uncaught exception Java.lang.nullpointerexception

I have already wiped the device to no avail and i have also swapped the device for another which worked well for a while but now i get the same error on another message!

Has anyone seen this error or knows how to deal with it i would be very grateful

Same exact thing here. It only happens to certain messages. The error happens as soon as you cleick on it. I cannot even delete it. I have search for this error, but found no fixes as of yet.

What BES version? Try to down load the Service pack 2a maybe this will solve the problem. Good luck.

I did the following to get rid of the message:
On my laptop in Outlook I went to sent items and deleted the message that I couldn't delete from my Blackberry, after that I connected the Blackberry to my laptop opened Blackberry Desktop Manager and did an intellisync, after that I checked my Blackberry and the sent message was gone.
