What oracle version?

Normally Oracle has its own jre, sometimes incompatible with others :). Try to set JAVA_HOME to that one (located at the same ORACLE_HOME).

hi
mr. Martin Cabrera
when i run netassit from Oracle_Home/bin then it's showing
JAVA_HOME enviroment variable seting
i am using 8i.

thanks & regards

I can not understand your last post. Does netassist really show

JAVA_HOME enviroment variable seting

???

Regards, Dima

hi again
mr. Martin Cabrera

Solaris 8 (Intel)
Oracle 8i
Enviroment Variable Set
ORACLE_HOME=/oracle
JAVA_HOME=$ORACLE_HOME/JRE,$ORACLE_HOME/jlib

When I running this at command prompt

$ cd /oracle/bin

$ netasst

Error is showing

/oracle/JRE/bin/jre[32]:/oracle/JRE/bin,/oracle/jlib/bin/i386/native_threads/jre:
not found

JAVA_HOME must point to JRE location, so can not contain a list of directories. Try to remove the second entry ($ORACLE_HOME/jlib)

Regards, Dima
