Java Program send data to MySQL database 1

I am a web developer but I am working with someone who is learning Java. I am hoping to be able to take variables from the java program that is running and create a query to write them into a MySQL database. Is this possible?

Hi erebus,

To access databases from java you need to use JDBC.

If you look at the MySQL website there's a driver that you have to download to access their databases:
