Hello -

We have a Casio pocket pc running Windows CE ver. 3

The browser is Pocket Internet Explorer - we can't determine which version.

This is a scaled-down browser.

Does anyone know of a Java plug-in or add-in for the
Pocket Internet Explorer ?

Thanks for any ideas. John

Sadly nope, It's been debated in numerous WinCE/Pocket PC forums. Your browser is similar to IE4.0, you can modify the registry to make it 5.0. You can get a Service pack from MS to give minimal JSCRIPT (not javascript) support. But there isn't a java plugin. BUT if you have a decent JVM on your PPC (Jeode, MicroChai, Personal Java) you may be able to get certain Java Browsers like Xbrowser or NETClue to do what you are after. Note: that the JVMs, for any PPC whether it's a 133mhz SH chip or a 400 Mhz Xscale, are horrifically slow.

I hope this helps!
