Hello,
I have installed IE6.0 with SP1.When accessing a perticular page i get an error msg similar to the one below.

java.lang.VerifyError: (class: xms/ExchangeRateCollection, method: load signature: ()V) Illegal use of nonvirtual function call.

I have installed latest version of Java.

Any help would be greatly APPRECIATED.

Sorry to say I don't have an answer for you. I have the same exact error. I believe that it is due to Microsoft's use of created or modified classes in the virtual machine that are not as "virtual" as they should be.
Could you tell me if your running XP?
Can you run MSJVM on that machine in stead of SUN JRE?
If I find out anything in my quest to resolve this I will let you know and ask likewise. Thanks
