greetings, have tried to download the MSN windows update but after the first part of installation they asked to reboot and now cannot get that update page, message reads 'action cancelled, IE unable to link to requested page'......i think that the Critical downloads were not downloaded

tried many ways to log onto the update sight but no longer available to me

and am continuously locked out out of my yahoo email box, forced to change my password with each log-on

as well, bookmarks are being imported onto my favorite file without my doing

will check back here periodically as i am no longer email notified when you post your reply, as i am locked out of my email box

save your data now!

have had to get a new password for email box maybe 15 times during thepast 24 hrs

and now since downloading IE6-SP1, web pages come up with missing links/icons or 'action cancelled'

nothing is 100%

I would reinstall the os now then get All the updates then install java

I take it you have backed up your important stuff

with random changes to the operation of your desktop I wouldn't wait
