I'm trying to roll out the new version of Java. Can't seem to figure out how to get the msi file out. Last time I just found the msi file after I installed it on a pc (jre1.6.0_07.msi) and used the msi to roll it out. How ever with update 12, I can't find the msi file.

We have all Windows XP service pack 3 pc's so I looked here for the msi. However, I don't find a sun folder in the path.
C:\Documents and Settings\</user>\Local Settings\ApplicationData\Sun\Java\ jre1.6.0_05\jre1.6.0_05.msi</user>

Please helpI must be missing something.

Thanks,
DJ

I just found it in C:\Documents and Settings\SimonD\Application Data\Sun\Java\jre1.6.0_12

jre1.6.0_12.msi
Data1.cab
lzma.dll
sp1033.MST

are all in that folder.

Simon

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.

If you use roaming profiles, Then go to the profile on the server and look the Java folder
\Profiles\%username%\Application Data\Sun\Java

Regards,
DJ
