java compilers

Hi there,

i have a java file i need to compile to use as a class inside a web page.
Im on the understanding that i have to compile from source which i have but is there any lite compilers out there rather than downloading the 111Mb compiler form java?

Id go get it but i dont see me using java much, just wondered if there was a quick way around it?

any help greaty appreciated

The SDK is about 50 Mb - and yes, you pretty much do need it all. It would be foolhardy to start trying to take bits out.
