Hi,

I have tried few times to learn Java and stopped due to various reasons.

What is the best book for beginner that I can finish.

Thanks.

from the amazon.com recommendations it seems that murrach's beginning java 2 and jacquie barker beginning java objects are some of the best. if you can read directly the Codenotes for Java: Intermediate and Advanced Language Features you are in luck -all books in the codenotes series are short, and, according to amazon.com, very well written (Gregory Brill Editor). in fact that's the latest trend in computer books - i reckon - make it short!
(and maybe hope, as i do, for "Codenotes for the Java beginner")
