I'm trying to run my jar

C:\jbuilder5\jdk1.3\bin\javaw -jar application.jar
The program runs but I cannot see any images and it also doesnot read xml files.
I'm using xml to produce my reports.
The classes, xml and my images are in the same folder.
Help please.

Does the value of "user.home" match the directory where the xml files are?

I dont understand what you mean by user.home
XML Files and images are stored with the classes

Ouch... did I post that?

I meant "user.dir" as in

System.getProperty("user.dir");

which returns the working folder for the process.

Yes the xml files are in the same directory as the class files
