Hello,

is there a command under HP-UX which tells you how much memory is in it?

Also is there one for cpu details?

The output i got is the following:-

echo physmem/D | adb -k /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem
physmem:
physmem: 983040

How much memory would you say that i have got?

I know its a daft question but i'm new to HP-UX

I just updated

suggesting that for that J5600, the value returned by sysconf() seems to corespond to PA8500 when it should be PS8600. I think that running "/usr/sbin/xstm" will give you the correct infomation. There is also a non-GUI /usr/bin/stm .
