I'm trying to FW some J179's to 4.0.5.0.10 and it's failing looking for J100Supgrade.bin.http. The phones are pointing to a Windows file server but I can't find this file anywhere. If I point the phones to
the SD card of one of our phone systems with the same FW on it they upgrade fine. The J100Supgrade.bin.http is not on the SD card either. Is it supposed to be auto generated like 46xxsettings.txt? (Below is a snip from sys monitor with the error).

The J100Supgrade.txt is with the firmware that you download add this to the HTTP server or the IP Office. It is .txt not .bin.

You need to load the firmware to the location that you are pointing the phone to. If the IP Office then check the SD card and make sure the firm is on it with file manager. If to an HTTP server load it to the file location that the server is pointing to.
What is the HTTP server that you are trying to use? IIS?
Mike

I finally resolved my issue. I was pointing the phone to the IP Office but the IP Office was setup to use manager rather than the memory card for the file server. That explains why I kept seeing the manager IP in the logs.
