I have SIP J169 endpoints setup and several to various administrative assistants that have bridged lines of their professionals. With the handset on the cradle they can press any of the bridged lines and get dialtone and then pick up the handset. If they lift the handset first they are unable to then select any of the bridged lines to switch the dial tone over to that line. The calling box appears on the screen as soon as you lift the handset. Is there a setting that relieves this? I went through all the settings on the actual phone and there was nothing.

The ringing isn't the issue. It's the assistant lifting the handset and then going to select the specific bridged line. Doesn't work. As soon as the handset is lifted the phone gets dial tone and on the screen displays a calling box, which will display the numbers you enter to make a call. I have to hit the 'end call' button for it to clear and then it will let me grab the line I want. If you leave the handset in the cradle you can select any line you want and get dialtone off it. Trying to see if there's a way to change the behavior of what happens when you just lift the handset. The user should be able to press any line appearance they want without that message appearing.
