After finding a few awesome black and white backgrounds and tinkering with the customer's logo a bit, I was able to put together a couple of very nice background screens that work beautifully with the white font on the J169. I put together the 46xxspecials.txt with the settings listed below that I was able to successfully uploaded to the SD card, I then proceeded to plug in a brand new J169 phone to the PoE switch and waited. In a nutshell, the correct background screen was displayed correctly only until I rebooted the phone for a second time. Is this normal or a bug?
After the firmware upgraded, phone rebooted to the login screen however the background screen was the default grayish background screen or the Default Image 1: (Red). I proceeded to login the extension but the background continued to be the Default Image 1. I went in to the display > background section of the phone and to my surprise, the custom background screen that I setup in the 46xxspecials.txt file was actually selected but it was not being displayed. I then proceed to reboot the phone for a second time and after the phone rebooted it continue to display the Default Image 1, after waiting a couple of second, I was able to actually see the background screen change on its own to the one I setup on the txt file.
Just wondering if this is normal or if this is a bug, the phone is on the latest firmware available 3.0.0.1.6 but the issue happens with the firmware that comes with the latest release of R11.
IF $MODEL4 SEQ J169 GOTO SIPJ169SPECIALS
GOTO END

SET BACKGROUND_IMAGE "Img1.jpg,Img2.jpg,Img3.jpg"
SET BACKGROUND_IMAGE_DISPLAY Img1.jpg
SET BACKGROUND_IMAGE_SELECTABLE 0
SET ENABLE_WEBSERVER 1
SET WEBSERVER_ON_HTTP 1
# END
