Anyone seen an issue with J129 randomly switching DHCP from YES to NO in it's own configuration? Also, seeing random phone display 'No SIP Proxies'. Usually restarting the phone or changing the DHCP setting resolves this, but the question is why is this happening and what is the permanent solution. System is R11.1.3.1.0.34

Thank you,

J129s are complete pieces of shyza. We had one outfitted with a wireless card for installation at a customer's site. We commissioned the phone in our lab before taking it to site, but because it had alreay been connected to our lab's WiFi network, it would not do a discovery of any other wireless network, it was locked to our wireless network and could not be changed. We had to default and reprogram the phone on site.

you get what you pay for and the J129 are cheap crap ($30 on Amazon which is less than any decent analog phone). Star for Nortel4Ever for making me laugh with the shyza expression

Thank you for adding this nugget to my vocabulary! I am obviously hoping to avoid that conversation with the customer "Dear Mister Customer, those 100s of phones you bought are Shyza, so sorry, I can't fix Shyza"
