Hey all, I am working on a IPO 500 V2 with 11.1.2 on it. I have my VM Pro and One X Portal running on an Applications server with the same software level on it. Many of my customers will also have this set up but currently are stuck at 11.0 due to Avaya not being able to point me in the proper direction for my question on the Certificates needed to run IX Workplace.

What I am looking for is directions for the 500V2 to make and install the certificates. Avaya keeps sending me to the web manager of the applications module, settings, general certificates - but the certificates part does not exist on my system, see attached pic.

I had this working in house and the Avaya tech had me install a certificate on my machine and now I cannot get it working again, and quite frankly I believe I got lucky in the first place. I have numerous clients using One X Mobile that I will need to move over to Workplace soon so I need to get this working, tired of banging my head against a wall with Avaya as usual.

I believe I read on here that the VM Pro/One X app server does not support creating certificates for another machine. Is this true? I installed a copy of the Server Edition but this shows the certificate section but does not allow me to create one for a different machine, it will let me type it all in but there is no place to save it.

dwone555 thanks for the info but as I clearly showed this Web Control Identity Certificate section is not on my system so I can not possibly use it to generate a certificate or modify one. These are just IP Office 500v2 with 11.1.2 software installed and an app server for VM Pro and Onex currently, and in the web manager, applications module, settings, general, certificates there is no CA Certificate let alone a certificates section at all.

Yes tell me I have been dealing with the back and forth with Avaya and need to know a definitive answer no need for the run around.

Hey,

we had same issue of missing a certificate section and the ASG section on one of our APP SRV / 7071.
It seems this is a sporadic bug which occurs when upgrading this server.

Follwing can be done to solve this problem:

a) Login with "root" to the webcontrol. There you will find appropriate sections
or b) Login with "root" to the webcontrol. Activate Referred Authentication under Settings. After that you can find both sections again within Administrator Account
