where would one find the setting for this? if i press 0 during the greeting, i get the 0 option for the Voice Menu set in the mailbox. but, if i press 0 after i hear the leave message tone, it routes the call to the lowest numbered mailbox in the system. thanks!

Is anything programmed in the personal operator for the mailbox? Does this happen for all/multiple users?

nothing in the personal operator field for any mailbox, which is apparently the issue. when that field is blank, and someone presses 0 after the message tone, the call goes to the ext of the first mailbox in the system....seems dumb to me. this is fixed by assigning an Operator in the Language Properties tab of the Company section.

You could change the menu for option 0 to do a different action. Normally we would set to auto attendant VDN but I think you could also just set it to start recording.

What TUI are you using? You gotta check/change that setting in the TUI that is applied to the feature group which trickles down to the mailbox.
