Hello there,

I've got a bit of a challenging problem here. at least it is
challenging for me. If someone faced a similar issue or knows a
solution, I'd be reallyyy grateful to you.

The problem is the following.

I am posting three IMR files, named IMR1, IMR2, & IMR3 and a
catalog and a macro on the IWR.
IMR1 is the only report, the users can view on Upfront. When they
run IMR1, it triggers the macro. Now the macro will convert the
other two IMR files (IMR2, IMR3) into excel files, named XLS2,
XLS3. Then the macro creates another 3rd XLS file called
FINAL.XLS and it feeds FINAL.XLS with data from both XLS2 and
XLS3. Once the macro finishes the users should see the FINAL.XLS
file.

The whole procedure runs perfectly fine when we double-click the
IMR1 file. And it also works when we schedule the whole process
and email the final excel file to the users. Now the users would
like to run the reports whenever they like to. Could someone
please help me with this? If I am not clear enough, please let
me know,

When I posted all the files and run IMR1, it returned a blank pdf
file to me. Please help?!

I think Macro are not executed within Impromptu Web server.

What I would do.
Having IMR2 and IMR3 as Snapshot files, and using them in FINAL.IMR.

You can in Upfront define dependancies between reports, so that when you run FINAL.imr , it first runs IMR2 and IMR3 to refresh the snapshot content , and then update the final.imr.
This way you are not using macros and users can run the report when they want.

Thank you Draoued. I really appreciate your help. :)
