Hello -

Does anyone here know how to change the output type for an IWR report, for more than 1 report at a time? We have over 300 reports that we need to add the .xls output type to and we have been told that this must be done 1 report at a time.

Thanks.

I don't think it is possible to programatically change all 300 reports at the same time, I know there is nothing in IWRCommand which will do this.

You can however select all of the reports in a newsbox and change teh output formats by clicking the edit menu and selecting properties.

Gary is correct. You can add a new output type to be generated at the next run time. You can set any property "globally" in the same manner as you set them individually. (Though there is not a global move that I have found...those go one by one.) Specifically use the "Select all" command in the newsbox. One caveat...if you have copies or shortcuts, you'll have to deselect them. if you keep them checked, you'll end up with an error when you try to save.
