Hi All,
We have our Cognos Server in U.S. It's being accessed by clients in US & UK to view their reports.

Number formats differ for both. It has to be xxx, xxx.xx for US & xx,xxx.xx for UK clients.

Earlier, I saw a similar thread in which Dave Griffin has said that prompts have to be used & using that style can be changed.

Is there any other way in which internationalization can be acheived in IWR??

Regards,
Prasad.

Prasad,

I did some more checking on the Cognos knowledgebase. It looks like using Regional Settings can be used to control some aspects of internationalization (dates, currency, etc). This will NOT include language elements, including long date names.

I fairly sure there is a previous post with more info on using regional settings. Use the Search facility (which is working again) to find it.
