IWR displays multiple of same prompt

I have a report (rpt1) that uses another .imr report (rpt2) for it's data source. The rpt2 .imr calls a stored procedure which has a start date and end date prompt. Rpt1 has 3 other prompts as well. When I run rpt1 from Impromptu administrator, it runs fine...I get all 5 prompts - the 3 from the rpt1 and the 2 from the rpt2. Once I publish the report, though, I am getting 7 prompts - the 3 from rpt1 and 4 from rpt2 (2 start date prompts and 2 end date prompts). I have tried deleting the reports and re-publishing and nothing works. Any ideas???? Thanks.

Sounds like a bug. Theoretically, ImpUser, ImpAdmin, and Impsrvr all share the same code and should behave consistantly. In reality there are differences.

What version of Impromptu and IWR are you using? What RDBMS platform and version?

I am using IWR version 7.1.334 and Impromptu Admin version 7.1.339. These are the original versions of what I installed almost 1 year ago. Nothing has changed with this software in that time. This report was working fine, then I added some columns and deleted some columns, re-published and that's where the problem came in.

If the report was working fine with the current Imp/IWR software revisions, then it is probably something you did with the report. Can you confirm that the report still works fine in the client software?
