I work on several NEAXs (IVS, IVS2 and IPS). I use Matworx32 v13 to access them remotely (MOC only on the IVS). I can do backups on the IPS and IVS2 but not the IVS. I also have Matworx Studio ver 8.0 but have seen posts that backups with anything earlier than Studio 3.6 are unreliable. Is there another Matworx or application that I can use to do backups on the IVS.
Also, is it normal for a backup or restore to take 2.5 hours on the IPS?

You can use MatWorX Studio to back up an IVS. You will have to set the baud rate in the IVS to 9600.
An IPS back up locally should take around 5 minutes. Remotely it can take over an hour, depending on the baud rate.

Let me correct my post; I have Matworx Studio 3.0.8. My backups are done via dialup access. I have read some posts that says backups done with versions of Studio prior to 3.6 are not reliable. If this is true, is there another program besides Matworx Studio 3.6 that I can use to backup an IVS?

So, outide of getting Matworx Studio 3.6 is there any other program, say older version of Matworx32 or MAT that I can use to do backups on IVS?

There was an old DOS program, but it's almost impossible to find and to use it, you need a DOS PC.

I have the old DOS programme and I even have the old SDS DOS programme. Either of which will work. The problem is how to get them to you!
