Hi, I have a CS1000M rls,MG 5.5 working having SIP license also. I also setup NRS between 2 sites i mean this CS1000M,MG and another site having CS1000M rls 5.
Now i need to connect it with a 3rd party IVR using SIP, IVR supporst SIP and presently it is connected with another SIP server.
I already defined that IVR in G/way End point, i used SIP static IP option/TCP/IVR IP and end point name as dummy.
When IVR try to register through NRS it shows it starts talking with signalling server but after a second Forbidden 403 message appears. In IVR SIP setting there is an option of USer and Password also, i dont know how to set user and pass in NRS for this IVR.I think it is giving 403 error due to authentication problem of SIP user and password.
IVR is VOXEO and it supporst SIP.
Any help or tips to resolve this?

Hi,

In Element Manager, Node configuration, check SIP Gateway Authentication Password. This may help.

Update Signaling Server patches acn check in ESPL if there is any patch concering the IVR your are using. I used to connect to Quintum and I needed a patch for registration.
 
HI, I tried to set authentication pass=1234 also defined in IVR SIP setting in password but still Forbidden 403 on IVE logs.
What will be user name and password which will be use?? i mean where do i create user/pass in NRS for authentication as IVR need user/password field to get register in NRS

This is new for me, but did you check with the vendor (VOXEO) for Installation/configuration with a CS 1000M system. If they have implemented this with another customer who has a similar nortel system they should be able to assist you or guide you in the right direction. Good Luck
 
Nah, it was first time they are integrating with nortel but before this they successfully connected this SIP IVR with Quintim and another PBX. The IVR log shows that it started communication with NRS but get forbidden message 403.
I just need to clarify what name should i gave in End Point name? and how do i creat user and password for authentication in gateway end point entry of this IVR.In IVR config i got following
Server IP=? here i gave mine IP
User=?-->(it is editable currently it is set to IVRsip)how do
i authenticate this SIP user in my NRS.
Pass=?
TCP/UDP=?
Port=5060.

Any more help

I manage to register this Voxeo IVr but getting a SIP 503 (I) error, which say not Implemented. The IVR log is given under. Does somebody help in this??? I have defined IVR in Gateway End point entries in NRS.
